You will not believe what happened to me!!!

I had a terrible month.

My YouTube account that had over 300k views and over 600 subscribers was hacked.

Subsequently, it was then suspended, canceled, banned, gone.

So..that means all of my 70 videos were wiped away from YouTube.

Not to mention my 6000 plus contacts and my inbox that had important messages from other YouTubers and Joint Venture contacts.

I am currently in communication with them and they are looking at the last logins and stuff…

The other awful thing that happened was that because my account was canceled, it also wiped away all the videos that I had embedded on my blog, my websites, forum posts, and more. All totaling 40 videos.

So this month was “clean up month”.

I learned my lesson. I also decided to make the issue public so I created a blog post about it for my readers.

I was struggling about putting it out there to them for awhile because I didn’t want it to affect my reputation. From having tons of views and subscribers to none.

It was really scary.

However, it would be totally worse for them not to know about what to do protect themselves in case something like this was to happen.

I wanted to show them what they can do to prevent getting their youtube account banned and to have peace of mind. This month really made me think about the importance of online security and protecting your business.

Although in the blog post I talk about the likely hood of getting it back.

How I Coped With My YouTube Channel Being Hacked

You’ll be glad to know that I start to create my new YouTube account. I was able to get 140 subscribers in 24 hrs. So that is at least good news.

I used tips you and I brainstormed the other night as well as the stuff we brainstormed about with James and Dave at Online Video 4 Profit, it is a privilege to work on the same level with you, Dave and James.  

Masterminding at it’s finest.

Ok I am out of here. I promised Diana that I would go with her to Yoga Class…
